Santa Monica Quilt Guild Announces Explorations 2009: A Quilt Exhibition June 13-14, 2009 at Loyola Marymount University Sherry Davis Kleinman Featur

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) -- The Santa Monica Quilt Guild announces Explorations 2009: A Quilt Exhibition of Traditional and Contemporary Works June 13-14, 2009 at Loyola Marymount University in Westchester. Sherry Davis Kleinman is the featured quilter for this biennial quilt show. The show hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Parking is free. "During our two-day show attendees will see over 175 quilts made by guild members, view live demonstrations such as hand-quilting, purchase quilts, bid on live and silent auctions, visit our unique Bag Boutique, and shop at 20 vendor booths. In addition we have our Opportunity Quilt raffle (see photo below), a raffle to win a 1960 Singer Featherweight sewing machine - donated by Tanner's Sew and Vac, and our popular gift basket raffles. Plus an empty thread spool guessing game. "
